Banff Wilderness – Guest Policies
​At Banff Wilderness, we offer professionally guided sightseeing, hiking, and adventure experiences within Banff National Park. Your safety, enjoyment, and respect for the park are our top priorities.
Safety
All tours are led by trained guides who continuously assess weather, terrain, wildlife activity, and group ability. Tours may be modified or cancelled at the guide’s discretion if conditions are unsafe.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests must:

Follow all guide instructions

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear

Disclose relevant medical conditions

Arrive on time for scheduled departures
Guests may be removed from a tour without refund if their behaviour or condition poses a safety risk.
Wildlife & Environment
Guests must follow Parks Canada wildlife regulations and Leave No Trace principles. Approaching or feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited.
Weather
Tours operate rain or shine unless safety is compromised. Weather-related decisions are final.
Cancellations

Cancellations more than 48 hours prior to tour start receive a full refund

Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows are non-refundable

If Banff Wilderness cancels a tour, guests will receive a full refund or option to reschedule
Conduct
Banff Wilderness maintains a respectful and inclusive environment. Harassment, aggressive behaviour, or unsafe actions will not be tolerated.
Participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks. All guests must complete a liability waiver prior to participation.
