Climb the Valley of the Ten Peaks Destination: Moraine Lake Type: Private Group Shuttle + Mountain Interpretation Duration: 10 Hours Ideal For: Independent climbers or groups with their own guide Standard Schedule 5:00 AM – Pickup in Calgary Comfortable private van. Coffee stop available en route if departing Calgary. 8:00 AM – Arrival at Moraine Lake Area Drop-off at pre-arranged access point. 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM – Climbing Time You climb independently or with your own certified guide. Cancellation Policy
1. Welcome & Experience Philosophy Banff Wilderness provides guided sightseeing, hiking, and adventure experiences within Banff National Park. Our goal is to offer safe, respectful, and meaningful experiences that connect guests to nature while protecting the park and everyone within it. All tours are professionally guided and operated in accordance with Parks Canada regulations. ________________________________________ 2. Safety First Your safety is our top priority. • All tours are led by trained, experienced guides • Safety briefings are provided before each tour • Guides continuously assess weather, trail conditions, wildlife activity, and group ability • Tours may be modified, shortened, or cancelled if conditions are unsafe Participation is voluntary, and guests are expected to follow all guide instructions. ________________________________________ 3. Participant Responsibilities Guests are responsible for: • Providing accurate information about health conditions, injuries, or physical limitations • Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for mountain conditions • Bringing required gear as outlined at booking • Following guide instructions at all times • Arriving on time for scheduled departures Banff Wilderness reserves the right to deny or end participation if a guest’s condition or behaviour presents a safety risk. ________________________________________ 4. Wildlife Awareness Banff National Park is home to wildlife. • Guests must maintain safe distances from wildlife at all times • Feeding, approaching, or attempting to photograph wildlife closely is prohibited • Tours may reroute or pause to avoid wildlife encounters Failure to follow wildlife safety instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund. ________________________________________ 5. Environmental Responsibility We follow Leave No Trace principles: • Stay on designated trails • Pack out all waste • Respect plants, animals, and natural features • Keep noise levels low Guests are expected to act respectfully toward the park environment.
